Inspired by its rich history, diverse culture, and spiritual depth, the Camino de Santiago has been both our academic muse and artistic platform for the past decade. As university professors, we bring to the table a robust experience spanning over 20 combined years of dedicated research, artistic presentations, and scholarly publications on pilgrimage, underpinned by 18+ years of university teaching. Our academic endeavors are enriched by our hands-on approach; we have proudly led multiple group expeditions along the Camino, each journey adding another layer to our understanding and interpretation. Beyond the confines of traditional academic boundaries, our passion drives us to craft artistic interpretations of the Camino's breathtaking landscapes and the embodied rituals of pilgrimage. Our curiosity has also led us to explore the mysteries of the ancient dolmens of the Iberian Peninsula, further intertwining the tales of prehistoric civilizations into our narrative.
